During Cyprus International Festival 2017, the Image Theater from the Czech Republic presents on September 22, 23 and 24 the production “The Best of Image” for four performances. “The Best of Images” is a selection of the best performances of Image Theater with the highest quality of dance, acrobatic, comic elements, colors, surprises and amazing scenes. The darkness of this black theater is filled with imagination. Dance is a way of expressing emotions but this specific dance doesn’t follow the laws of physics.

Music, fairy tale, the precise execution of the visual effects, the playful style of the writers transform the lifeless into a lifefull and the unbelievable becomes reality. Viewers live a dream. It is an exceptional show for adults and children which excites both of them.

Image Theatre

Through its 27-year career, Image Theater has developed its own distinctive style. It uses the technique of Black Theater in combination with modern dance elements, authentic costumes, pantomime and interactive public interaction. It is a very important part of the Czech culture and is well known worldwide. With more than eight thousand performances and an audience of over two million viewers, Image Theater’s goal remains the same for 27 years, satisfying every viewer who is lucky enough to watch it.
